Cornerstone City Campus

10AM SUNDAYS

We have a vision to see lives changed as people come to know who Jesus is. Sundays are where we unite in song, hear the Bible read and taught from and where we spent time each week praying for the needs of our community and the world.

Our City Campus has grown from 50 people in 2012 to around 200 in 2021.  We're a diverse community with many different nationalities, a wide range of ages, and lots of families in the stage of raising young kids.

Gathering at Riccarton High School, 31 Vicki Street. We would love you to come join us.

What to expect when you visit

Arriving somewhere new for the first time can be intimidating! But we have a friendly team of welcomers who will greet you at the door and help get you settled.

Each week, the meeting starts at 10am and includes singing, hearing challenging teaching from the Bible, prayer and time to connect with one another.

Straight after the meeting we enjoy morning tea and coffee together.

Bringing the kids?

Kids' Space provides a range of ministries for children each Sunday morning. We start church together and have a kids' talk before the children break off into their different programmes.

We run a crèche for 1–4 year olds that opens 15 minutes before the service begins. There is also a Parents Room with a live feed of the sermon for those with little ones who aren't yet in crèche.

Joining the family

If you're keen to plug in at Cornerstone, the best place to start is Newish Connect - a midweek group for people arriving at Cornerstone — a bit like a welcome lounge! Come join us as we look at different areas important to a healthy church and what the Bible says about belonging to God’s people. Find out more about Newish Connect.

Our Growth Groups are small groups that meet weekly to dig into the Bible, pray, care for one another and grow together. Each Growth Group belongs to a Cluster and each Cluster is unique!

  • Cornerstone Evening Groups - groups that meet in homes either on Tuesday or Wednesday evenings each week
  • Women's Connect — 10am Thursday mornings with crèche provided.
  • International Connect Group (ICG) — a great place for internationals at church. Each week there's a shared meal and plenty of opportunities to meet people from all around the world.
